She soon realizes that her diverse group of students is embroiled in the racial gang war culture of the time. Without the positive support of family members or teachers, these students have no expectations of academic success. Each day is a struggle to survive on the streets.
The movie presents some issues as tolerance, finding success, inequality of education, earning respect and trust, overcoming adversity, family relationships...Moreover it has a relation with the Holocaust topic (Ann Frank Story) studied during the first term.

1. I think that he comparate this situation because, only one of the students of this class are a white men, and he doesn´t is in any band and he is alone and helpless, in this class there are asiatic bands, AfroAmerican bands and if he say something he can have problems.

Because the nazis were like a band but instead of occupying neighborhoods occupied countries.

All the people of the class change when they read the Ana Frank´s diary and when they tell his histories in class they realized that they have a lot of things in common and they start to get along.

Because she risked his life for save the Jews, and for the class there is a good reason to admire Miep Gies.

Not is a really good decision because she put all her family and friends against him, but she did it for tell the truth.

Miep Gies prefers tell the truth although it means go against her people and Eva wants to be like Miep and tell the truth in the courtroom.
7 Why is Eva so affected by the ending of Anne Frank´s diary?
Because Anna Frank dies at the end of the book and the teacher does´t tell it to Eva.

I think that I would say the truth because if you lie in the witness stand you can enter in problems and you can go to the jail, definitely I choose say the truth because is the most important think.
